圣训 1677 — 第 49: The Description of the Prophet, may Allah Bless Him and Grant Him Peace

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The very poor are not the people who constantly walk from person to person and are given one or two morsels, and one or two dates." They said, "Who are the very poor, Messenger of Allah?" He said, "People who do not find enough for themselves and other people are not aware of them to give sadaqa to them, and they do not start begging from other people

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مسکین وہ نہیں ہے جو گھر گھر مانگتا پھرتا ہے کہیں سے ایک لقمہ ملا کہیں سے دو لقمے کہیں سے ایک کھجور کہیں سے دو کھجوریں۔ صحابہ نے پوچھا پھر یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسکیں کون ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جس شخص کے پاس مال نہں ہے کہ وہ اپنی حاجت پوری کرے نہ لوگوں کو اس کا حال معلوم ہے تاکہ اس کو صدقہ دیں نہ وہ مانگنے کو کھڑا ہوتا ہے ۔
