Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Je n’ai jamais vu quelqu’un dont la prière ressemblait autant à celle du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) que telle ou telle personne. Il allongeait les deux premières unités de prière du Zuhr et raccourcissait les deux dernières, et il raccourcissait la prière du ‘Asr

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا أَشْبَهَ صَلاَةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ فُلاَنٍ . قَالَ وَكَانَ يُطِيلُ الأُولَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَيُخَفِّفُ الأُخْرَيَيْنِ وَيُخَفِّفُ الْعَصْرَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:“I have never seen anyone whose prayer more closely resembles that of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) than so-and-so. He used to lengthen the first two Rak’ah of the Zuhr and shorten the last two Rak’ah, and he used to shorten the ‘Asr.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے فلاں یعنی عمرو بن سلمہ سے زیادہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے مشابہ کسی کی نماز نہیں دیکھی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر کی پہلی دو رکعتیں لمبی کرتے، اور آخری دونوں ہلکی کرتے، اور عصر کی نماز بھی ہلکی کرتے ۱؎۔
