Rapporté par Abu Ma’mar : J’ai demandé à Khabbab : « Comment as-tu su que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) récitait pendant la prière du Zuhr et du ‘Asr ? » Il a répondu : « Grâce au mouvement de sa barbe. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِخَبَّابٍ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ قِرَاءَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ قَالَ بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Ma’mar said:“I said to Khabbab: ‘How did you recognize that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was reciting in the Zuhr and the ‘Asr?’ He said: ‘From the movement of his beard.’”

ابومعمر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے خباب رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: آپ لوگ ظہر اور عصر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قراءت کو کیسے پہچانتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا: آپ کی داڑھی مبارک ( کے بال ) کے ہلنے سے۔
