كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri : Trente compagnons du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) qui avaient participé à Badr se sont réunis et ont dit : « Venez, estimons la durée de la récitation du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) pour la prière où le Coran n’est pas récité à voix haute. » Aucun d’eux n’était en désaccord, et ils ont estimé que la récitation dans la première unité du Zuhr était de trente versets, et dans la seconde, la moitié. Ils ont estimé que sa récitation dans le ‘Asr était la moitié des deux dernières unités du Zuhr

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدٌ الْعَمِّيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ ثَلاَثُونَ بَدْرِيًّا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالُوا تَعَالَوْا حَتَّى نَقِيسَ قِرَاءَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِيمَا لَمْ يَجْهَرْ فِيهِ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ . فَمَا اخْتَلَفَ مِنْهُمْ رَجُلاَنِ فَقَاسُوا قِرَاءَتَهُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الأُولَى مِنَ الظُّهْرِ بِقَدْرِ ثَلاَثِينَ آيَةً وَفِي الرَّكْعَةِ الأُخْرَى قَدْرَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَقَاسُوا ذَلِكَ فِي صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ عَلَى قَدْرِ النِّصْفِ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأُخْرَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri said:“Thirty of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who had been at Badr came together and said: ‘Come, let us estimate the length of the recitation of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for the prayer in which Qur’an is not recited out aloud.’ No two men among them disagreed, and they estimated the length of his recitation in the first Rak’ah of the Zuhr to be thirty Verses and in the second Rak’ah to be half of that. They estimated his recitation in ‘Asr to be half of the last two Rak’ah of Zuhr.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ تیس بدری صحابہ اکٹھے ہوئے اور انہوں نے کہا کہ آؤ ہم سری نماز میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قراءت کا اندازہ کریں، تو ان لوگوں نے ظہر کی پہلی رکعت میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قراءت کا اندازہ تیس آیت کے بہ قدر کیا، اور دوسری رکعت میں اس کے آدھا، اور عصر کی نماز میں ظہر کی پچھلی دونوں رکعتوں کے نصف کے بہ قدر، اس اندازے میں ان میں سے دو شخصوں کا بھی اختلاف نہیں ہوا ا؎۔
