كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Laila : J’ai prié à côté du Prophète (ﷺ) alors qu’il accomplissait une prière surérogatoire la nuit. Il a récité un verset qui parlait du châtiment et a dit : “Je cherche protection auprès d’Allah contre le Feu, malheur aux gens du Feu.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تَطَوُّعًا فَمَرَّ بِآيَةِ عَذَابٍ فَقَالَ " أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَوَيْلٌ لأَهْلِ النَّارِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Laila said:“I prayed beside the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was praying voluntary prayers at night. He recited a Verse which mentioned punishment and said: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire, woe to the people of the Fire.’”
Traduction en ourdou
ابولیلیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پہلو میں نماز پڑھی، آپ رات میں نفل نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، جب عذاب کی آیت سے گزرے تو فرمایا: میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں جہنم کے عذاب سے، اور تباہی ہے جہنمیوں کے لیے ۔
