Hadith 2782 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr : Un homme est venu voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, je suis venu pour partir au Jihad avec toi, cherchant ainsi la Face d’Allah et l’Au-delà. Je suis venu alors que mes parents pleurent. » Il a dit : « Retourne auprès d’eux et fais-les sourire comme tu les as fait pleurer. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي جِئْتُ أُرِيدُ الْجِهَادَ مَعَكَ أَبْتَغِي وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَالدَّارَ الآخِرَةَ وَلَقَدْ أَتَيْتُ وَإِنَّ وَالِدَىَّ لَيَبْكِيَانِ . قَالَ " فَارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِمَا فَأَضْحِكْهُمَا كَمَا أَبْكَيْتَهُمَا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr said:“A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have come seeking to go out in Jihad with you, seeking thereby the Face of Allah and the Hereafter. I have come even though my parents are weeping.’ He said: ‘Go back to them and make them smile as you have made them weep.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک شخص آیا، اور اس نے عرض کیا: میں آپ کے ساتھ جہاد کے ارادے سے آیا ہوں، جس سے میرا مقصد رضائے الٰہی اور آخرت کا ثواب ہے، لیکن میں اپنے والدین کو روتے ہوئے چھوڑ کر آیا ہوں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان کے پاس واپس لوٹ جاؤ اور جس طرح تم نے انہیں رلایا ہے اسی طرح انہیں ہنساؤ ۱؎۔
