Rapporté par Humaid : On a demandé à Anas bin Malik : "Le Prophète portait-il une bague ?" Il a répondu : "Oui." Une nuit, il a retardé la prière de 'Isha jusqu'à presque la moitié de la nuit. Quand il a terminé la prière, il s'est tourné vers nous et a dit : "Les gens ont prié et sont allés dormir, mais vous êtes encore en prière tant que vous attendez la prochaine prière." حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خَاتَمًا قَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً الْعِشَاءَ الآخِرَةَ إِلَى قَرِيبٍ مِنْ شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ " . قَالَ أَنَسٌ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
Humaid said:"Anas bin Malik was asked: 'Did the Prophet wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes.' One night he delayed the 'Isha' prayer until almost the middle of the night. When he had prayed, he turned to face us and said: 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you will still be in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer.'" (Sahih)Anas said: "It was as if I can see the sparkle from his ring

حمید کہتے ہیں کہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا گیا: کیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انگوٹھی بنوائی تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا: جی ہاں، ایک رات آپ نے عشاء کی نماز آدھی رات کے قریب مؤخر کی، جب آپ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو ہماری جانب متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا: اور لوگ نماز پڑھ کر سو گئے، اور تم لوگ برابر نماز ہی میں رہے جب تک نماز کا انتظار کرتے رہے ، انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: گویا میں آپ کی انگوٹھی کی چمک دیکھ رہا ہوں۔
