Hadith 693 — Livre 2: The Book of the Prayer
كتاب إقامة الصلوات والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Sa'eed : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ nous a dirigés pour la prière du Maghrib. Ensuite, il n'est pas sorti jusqu'à ce que la moitié de la nuit soit passée. Puis il est sorti et les a dirigés en prière, puis il a dit : "Les gens ont prié et sont allés dormir, mais vous êtes encore en prière tant que vous attendez la prochaine prière. Si ce n'était pas pour les faibles et les malades, j'aurais voulu retarder cette prière jusqu'à la moitié de la nuit

حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى اللَّيْثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ صَلاَةَ الْمَغْرِبِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ حَتَّى ذَهَبَ شَطْرُ اللَّيْلِ فَخَرَجَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَأَنْتُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ وَلَوْلاَ الضَّعِيفُ وَالسَّقِيمُ أَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ هَذِهِ الصَّلاَةَ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said:"The Messenger of Allah led us for the Maghrib prayer. Then he did not come out until half the night had passed. Then he came out and led them in prayer, then he said: "The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you are still in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer. Were it not for the weak and the sick, I wanted to delay this prayer until the middle of the night
Traduction en ourdou
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں مغرب کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر آدھی رات تک ( حجرہ سے ) باہر نہ آئے، پھر نکلے اور لوگوں کو عشاء کی نماز پڑھائی اور فرمایا: اور لوگ نماز پڑھ کر سو گئے، اور تم برابر نماز ہی میں رہے جب تک نماز کا انتظار کرتے رہے، اگر مجھے کمزوروں اور بیماروں کا خیال نہ ہوتا تو میں اس نماز کو آدھی رات تک مؤخر کرنا پسند کرتا ۔
