Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « La foi comporte plus de soixante-dix branches. La meilleure est d’affirmer qu’il n’y a pas d’autre dieu qu’Allah, et la plus simple est d’enlever un obstacle du chemin. La pudeur est aussi une branche de la foi. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ أَفْضَلُهَا قَوْلُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْعَظْمِ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying :Faith has over seventy branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the removal of a bone from the road. And modesty is a branch of faith
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایمان کی ستر سے کچھ زیادہ شاخیں ہیں، ان میں سب سے افضل لا إله إلا الله کہنا، اور سب سے کم تر راستے سے ہڈی ہٹانا ہے ۲؎، اور حیاء ایمان کی ایک شاخ ہے ۳؎ ۔
