Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : « Je suis la personne la plus proche de (Jésus) fils de Marie parmi les gens. Les Prophètes sont frères, fils du même père mais de mères différentes. Il n’y a pas de Prophète entre lui et moi. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِابْنِ مَرْيَمَ الأَنْبِيَاءُ أَوْلاَدُ عَلاَّتٍ وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ نَبِيٌّ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah said :I heard the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) say : I am the nearest of kin among the people to (Jesus) son of Mary. The Prophet are brothers, sons of one father by co-wives. There is no Prophet between me and him
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: میں ابن مریم سے لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ قریب ہوں، انبیاء علیہم السلام علاتی بھائی ہیں، میرے اور ان کے درمیان کوئی نبی نہیں ۱؎ ۔
