Hadith 4677 — Livre 42: Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنه : Lorsque la délégation de ‘Abd al-Qais est venue voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, il leur a ordonné de croire en Allah. Il leur a demandé : « Savez-vous ce qu’est la foi en Allah ? » Ils ont répondu : « Allah et Son Messager savent mieux. » Il a dit : « Cela comprend de témoigner qu’il n’y a pas d’autre dieu qu’Allah et que Muhammad est le Messager d’Allah, d’accomplir la prière, de donner la zakat, de jeûner pendant le Ramadan et de donner un cinquième du butin. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَمْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ إِنَّ وَفْدَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ لَمَّا قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَرَهُمْ بِالإِيمَانِ بِاللَّهِ قَالَ " أَتَدْرُونَ مَا الإِيمَانُ بِاللَّهِ " . قَالُوا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ " شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامُ الصَّلاَةِ وَإِيتَاءُ الزَّكَاةِ وَصَوْمُ رَمَضَانَ وَأَنْ تُعْطُوا الْخُمُسَ مِنَ الْمَغْنَمِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn ‘Abbas said :When the deputation of ‘Abd al-Qais came to the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him), he commanded them to believe in Allah. He asked : Do you know what faith in Allah is? They replied : Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It includes the testimony that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle, the observance of the prayer, the payment of zakat, the fasts of Ramadan, and your giving a fifth of the booty
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ عبدالقیس کا وفد جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا تو آپ نے انہیں ایمان باللہ کا حکم دیا اور پوچھا: کیا تم جانتے ہو: ایمان باللہ کیا ہے؟ وہ بولے: اللہ اور اس کے رسول زیادہ جانتے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس بات کی شہادت دینی کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور محمد اللہ کے رسول ہیں، نماز کی اقامت، زکاۃ کی ادائیگی، رمضان کے روزے رکھنا، اور مال غنیمت میں سے پانچواں حصہ ادا کرو ۔
