Hadith 636 — Livre 7: The Book of the Adhan (The Call to Prayer)
كتاب الأذان
Rapporté par Ayyub, d’après Abu Qilabah, d’après 'Amr bin Salamah : Abu Qilabah m’a dit (à Ayyub) : « Il ('Amr) est encore vivant, veux-tu le rencontrer ? » Je l’ai rencontré et je lui ai demandé, et il a dit : « Quand La Mecque a été conquise, tout le monde s’est empressé d’annoncer son islam. Mon père est parti annoncer l’islam des gens de notre village, et quand il est revenu, nous sommes allés le voir et il a dit : “Par Allah, je viens de la part du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ).” Il a dit : “Priez telle prière à telle heure, priez telle prière à telle heure. Quand l’heure de la prière arrive, que l’un de vous fasse l’Adhan et que celui qui connaît le plus de Coran dirige la prière.” »

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلِمَةَ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبُو قِلاَبَةَ هُوَ حَىٌّ أَفَلاَ تَلْقَاهُ . قَالَ أَيُّوبُ فَلَقِيتُهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ وَقْعَةُ الْفَتْحِ بَادَرَ كُلُّ قَوْمٍ بِإِسْلاَمِهِمْ فَذَهَبَ أَبِي بِإِسْلاَمِ أَهْلِ حِوَائِنَا فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ اسْتَقْبَلْنَاهُ فَقَالَ جِئْتُكُمْ وَاللَّهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَقًّا فَقَالَ " صَلُّوا صَلاَةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا وَصَلاَةَ كَذَا فِي حِينِ كَذَا فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْثَرُكُمْ قُرْآنًا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from 'Amr bin Salamah:"Abu Qilabah said to me (Ayyub): He ('Amr) is still alive, do you want to meet him?" I met him and asked him, and he said: "When Makkah was conquered, all the people hastened to announce their Islam. My father went to announce the Islam of the poeple of our village, and when he came back we went to see him and he said: 'By Allah, I have indeed come to you from the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W)'. He said: 'Pray such and such a prayer at such and such a time, pray such and such a prayer at such and such a time. When the time for prayer comes let one of you call the Adhan and let the one who knows the most Qur'an lead the prayer
Traduction en ourdou
ایوب کہتے ہیں کہ ابوقلابہ نے مجھ سے کہا کہ عمرو بن سلمہ زندہ ہیں تم ان سے مل کیوں نہیں لیتے، ( کہ براہ راست ان سے یہ حدیث سن لو ) تو میں عمرو بن سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملا، اور میں نے ان سے جا کر پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: جب فتح ( مکہ ) کا واقعہ پیش آیا، تو ہر قبیلہ نے اسلام لانے میں جلدی کی، تو میرے باپ ( بھی ) اپنی قوم کے اسلام لانے کی خبر لے کر گئے، جب وہ ( واپس ) آئے تو ہم نے ان کا استقبال کیا، تو انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم، میں اللہ کے سچے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس سے آیا ہوں، انہوں نے فرمایا ہے: فلاں نماز فلاں وقت اس طرح پڑھو، فلاں نماز فلاں وقت اس طرح، اور جب نماز کا وقت آ جائے تو تم میں سے کوئی ایک اذان دے، اور جسے قرآن زیادہ یاد ہو وہ تمہاری امامت کرے ۔
