Rapporté par ‘Aïsha : La première fois que la prière a été prescrite, elle était de deux unités (Rak‘a), et elle est restée ainsi en voyage, mais la prière pour les résidents a été rendue complète

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ أَوَّلَ مَا فُرِضَتِ الصَّلاَةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَأُقِرَّتْ صَلاَةُ السَّفَرِ وَأُتِمَّتْ صَلاَةُ الْحَضَرِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"The first time the Salah was enjoined it was two Rak'ahs, and it remained as such when traveling, but the Salah while resident was made complete
Traduction en ourdou
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ابتداء میں دو رکعت نماز فرض کی گئی، پھر سفر کی نماز ( دو ہی ) باقی رکھی گئی اور حضر کی نماز ( بڑھا کر ) پوری کر دی گئی۔
