Rapporté par Abu ‘Amr – c’est-à-dire Al-Awza‘i – qui a demandé à Az-Zuhri au sujet de la prière du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) à La Mecque avant l’Hégire vers Médine. Il a dit : "Urwah m’a raconté que ‘Aïsha a dit : 'Allah a prescrit la prière au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), et la première chose qu’Il a prescrite était deux Rak‘a à la fois, puis elle a été portée à quatre Rak‘a pour les résidents, mais la prière en voyage est restée à deux Rak‘a, comme elle avait été prescrite au début

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَعْلَبَكِّيُّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي الأَوْزَاعِيَّ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ الزُّهْرِيَّ عَنْ صَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَكَّةَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الصَّلاَةَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوَّلَ مَا فَرَضَهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ أُتِمَّتْ فِي الْحَضَرِ أَرْبَعًا وَأُقِرَّتْ صَلاَةُ السَّفَرِ عَلَى الْفَرِيضَةِ الأُولَى .
Traduction anglaise
Abu 'Amr - meaning, Al-Awza'i - said that he asked Az-Zuhri about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Makkah before the Hijrah to Al-Madinah. He said:"Urwah told me that 'Aishah said: 'Allah enjoined the salah upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and the first thing that He enjoined was two Rak'ahs at a time, then it was made complete four Rak'ahs while in the state of residence but the prayer when traveling remained two Rak'ahs, as it was first enjoined

ولید کہتے ہیں کہ ابوعمرو اوزاعی نے مجھے خبر دی ہے کہ انہوں نے زہری سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا کہ مدینہ کی طرف ہجرت کرنے سے پہلے مکہ میں آپ کی نماز کیسی ہوتی تھی، تو انہوں نے کہا: مجھے عروہ نے خبر دی ہے، وہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے کہا کہ ابتداء میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر دو دو رکعت نماز فرض کی، پھر حضر میں چار رکعت کر کے انہیں مکمل کر دی، اور سفر کی نماز سابق حکم ہی پر برقرار رکھی گئی۔
