Rapporté par Imran bin Husain : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : "Les meilleurs d’entre vous sont ceux de ma génération, puis ceux qui viennent après eux, puis ceux qui viennent après eux, puis ceux qui viennent après eux." – Je ne sais pas s’il a dit deux ou trois fois après lui. Ensuite, il a parlé de certaines personnes qui trahissent et à qui on ne peut pas faire confiance, qui témoignent sans qu’on le leur demande, qui font des vœux sans les accomplir, et où l’obésité deviendra courante parmi eux

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ، يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " خَيْرُكُمْ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ " . فَلاَ أَدْرِي أَذَكَرَ مَرَّتَيْنِ بَعْدَهُ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ قَوْمًا يَخُونُونَ وَلاَ يُؤْتَمَنُونَ وَيَشْهَدُونَ وَلاَ يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ وَيُنْذِرُونَ وَلاَ يُوفُونَ وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ السِّمَنُ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ أَبُو جَمْرَةَ .
Traduction anglaise
Imran bin Husain said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The best of you are my generation, then those who come after them, then those whom after them, then those who come after them.' -I do not know if he said two times after him or three. Then he mentioned some people who betray and cannot be trusted, who bear witness without being asked to do so, who make vows and do not fulfill them, and fatness will prevail among them
Traduction en ourdou
عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے زیادہ اچھے اور بہتر لوگ وہ ہیں جو میرے زمانے کے ہیں، پھر وہ جو ان کے بعد کے ہیں، پھر وہ جو ان کے بعد کے ہیں، پھر وہ جو ان کے بعد کے ہیں ، مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «ثم الذين يلونهم» کا ذکر دو بار کیا یا تین بار، پھر آپ نے ان لوگوں کا ذکر کیا جو خیانت کریں گے اور انہیں امین ( امانت دار ) نہیں سمجھا جائے گا، گواہی دیں گے حالانکہ ان سے گواہی نہیں مانگی جائے گی اور نذر مانیں گے اور اسے پورا نہیں کریں گے اور ان لوگوں میں موٹاپا ظاہر ہو گا ۱؎۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں: یہ ابوجمرہ نصر بن عمران ہیں۔
