أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِرَجُلٍ يَقُودُ رَجُلاً فِي قَرَنٍ فَتَنَاوَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَطَعَهُ قَالَ إِنَّهُ نَذْرٌ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک ایسے شخص کے پاس سے گزرے جو ایک آدمی کو رسی میں باندھ کر کھینچے لے جا رہا تھا، آپ نے رسی کو لیا اور اسے کاٹ ڈالا اور فرمایا: یہ نذر ہے ۱؎۔
