Hadith 2594 — Livre 23: The Book of Zakah
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par 'Amr bin Shu'aib, d’après son père, d’après son grand-père : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : “Celui qui demande alors qu’il a quarante dirhams est trop exigeant en demandant.”

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ شَابُورَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ سَأَلَ وَلَهُ أَرْبَعُونَ دِرْهَمًا فَهُوَ الْمُلْحِفُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever asks when he has forty Dirhams I being too demanding when asking
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جس کے پاس چالیس درہم ہوں اور وہ مانگے تو وہ «ملحف» ( چمٹ کر مانگنے والا ) ہے“۔
