Rapporté par Mu'awiyah : Le Messager d’Allah a dit : “Ne soyez pas insistants en demandant. Si l’un de vous me demande quelque chose et que je le donne à contrecœur, il n’y aura pas de bénédiction dedans.”

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تُلْحِفُوا فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ وَلاَ يَسْأَلْنِي أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ شَيْئًا وَأَنَا لَهُ كَارِهٌ فَيُبَارَكُ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتُهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Mu'awiyah that the Messenger of Allah said:"Do not be demanding when asking. If one of you asks me for anything and I give it reluctantly, there will be no blessing in it
Traduction en ourdou
معاویہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”چمٹ کر مت مانگو، اور تم میں سے کوئی مجھ سے کوئی چیز اس لیے نہ مانگے کہ میں اسے جو دوں اس میں اسے برکت دی جائے، اور حال یہ ہو کہ میں اسے نہ دینا چاہوں“۔
