Hadith 2558 — Livre 23: The Book of Zakah
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Ibn Jabir, d'après son père : Le Messager d'Allah a dit : "Il y a une forme de jalousie protectrice qu'Allah, le Puissant et Majestueux, aime et une qu'Il déteste, et une forme de fierté qu'Allah aime et une qu'Il déteste. La jalousie protectrice qu'Allah aime, c'est celle qui existe quand il y a des raisons de soupçonner. Celle qu'Allah déteste, c'est quand il n'y a aucune raison de soupçonner. Quant à la fierté qu'Allah aime, c'est quand un homme est fier de lui-même en combattant ou en faisant l'aumône. Et la fierté qu'Allah déteste, c'est d'être fier en faisant le mal

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ مِنَ الْغَيْرَةِ مَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمِنْهَا مَا يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمِنَ الْخُيَلاَءِ مَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَمِنْهَا مَا يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَأَمَّا الْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَالْغَيْرَةُ فِي الرِّيبَةِ وَأَمَّا الْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَالْغَيْرَةُ فِي غَيْرِ رِيبَةٍ وَالاِخْتِيَالُ الَّذِي يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ اخْتِيَالُ الرَّجُلِ بِنَفْسِهِ عِنْدَ الْقِتَالِ وَعِنْدَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَالاِخْتِيَالِ الَّذِي يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْخُيَلاَءُ فِي الْبَاطِلِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn Jabir, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah said:"There is a kind of protective Jealousy that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves anda kind that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates, and a kind of pride that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves and a kind that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates, As for the protective jealousy that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves, it is protective jealousy when there are grounds for suspicion. As for the protective jealousy that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates, it is protective jealousy when there are no grounds for suspicion. As for the pride that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves, it is when a man feels proud of himself when fighting and when giving charity. And as for the kind of pride that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates, it is pride in doing wrong
Traduction en ourdou
جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ایک غیرت وہ ہے جسے اللہ تعالیٰ پسند کرتا ہے، اور ایک غیرت وہ ہے جسے اللہ ناپسند کرتا ہے، ( ایسے ہی ) ایک فخر وہ ہے جسے اللہ تعالیٰ پسند کرتا ہے، اور ایک فخر وہ ہے جسے اللہ تعالیٰ ناپسند کرتا ہے، تو جس غیرت کو اللہ پسند کرتا ہے وہ تہمت کی جگہ کی غیرت ہے، اور وہ غیرت ۱؎ جو اللہ عزوجل کو ناپسند ہے تو وہ غیر تہمت کی جگہ کی غیرت ہے ۲؎ رہا فخر جو اللہ کو پسند ہے تو وہ آدمی کا لڑائی کے وقت یا صدقہ دیتے وقت اپنی ذات پر فخر ہے ۳؎ اور وہ فخر جو اللہ کو ناپسند ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ آدمی لغو اور بیہودہ کاموں پر فخر کرے“۔
