Rapporté par 'Aishah : Deux vieilles femmes juives de Médine sont venues me voir et ont dit : "Les gens des tombes sont tourmentés dans leurs tombes." Mais je ne les ai pas crues, et je ne voulais pas les croire. Elles sont parties et le Messager d’Allah est entré chez moi. J’ai dit : "Ô Messager d’Allah, deux vieilles femmes juives de Médine ont dit que les gens des tombes sont tourmentés dans leurs tombes." Il a dit : "Elles ont dit la vérité. Ils sont tourmentés d’une manière que tous les animaux peuvent entendre." Et je ne l’ai jamais vu faire une prière sans qu’il ne cherche refuge auprès d’Allah contre le châtiment de la tombe

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ دَخَلَتْ عَلَىَّ عَجُوزَتَانِ مِنْ عُجُزِ يَهُودِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَتَا إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُبُورِ يُعَذَّبُونَ فِي قُبُورِهِمْ . فَكَذَّبْتُهُمَا وَلَمْ أَنْعَمْ أَنْ أُصَدِّقَهُمَا فَخَرَجَتَا وَدَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عَجُوزَتَيْنِ مِنْ عُجُزِ يَهُودِ الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَتَا إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُبُورِ يُعَذَّبُونَ فِي قُبُورِهِمْ . قَالَ " صَدَقَتَا إِنَّهُمْ يُعَذَّبُونَ عَذَابًا تَسْمَعُهُ الْبَهَائِمُ كُلُّهَا " . فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّى صَلاَةً إِلاَّ تَعَوَّذَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Aishah said:"Two of the old Jewish women of Al-Madinah came to me and said: 'The people of the graves are tormented in their graves.' But I did not believe them, and I did not believe them, and I did not want to believe them. They left and the Messenger of Allah entered upon me, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, two of the old Jewish women of Al-Madinah said that the people of the graves are tormented in their graves.' He said: 'They spoke the truth. They are tormented in a manner that all the animals can hear.' And I never saw him offer any Salah but he sought refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں یہود مدینہ کی بوڑھی عورتوں میں سے دو عورتیں میرے پاس آئیں، ( اور ) کہنے لگیں کہ قبر والوں کو ان کی قبروں میں عذاب دیا جاتا ہے، تو میں نے ان کو جھٹلا دیا اور مجھے یہ بات اچھی نہیں لگی کہ میں ان کی تصدیق کروں، وہ دونوں نکل گئیں ( تبھی ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس آئے تو میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہود مدینہ کی بوڑھیوں میں سے دو بوڑھیاں کہہ رہی تھیں کہ مردوں کو ان کی قبروں میں عذاب دیا جاتا ہے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ان دونوں نے سچ کہا، انہیں عذاب دیا جاتا ہے جسے سارے چوپائے سنتے ہیں“، ( پھر ) میں نے دیکھا آپ ہر صلاۃ کے بعد عذاب قبر سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔
