Hadith 1526 — Livre 17: The Book of Praying for Rain (Al-Istisqa')
كتاب الاستسقاء
Rapporté par Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si Allah (SWT) retenait la pluie de Ses serviteurs pendant cinq ans puis l’envoyait, certains deviendraient mécréants en disant : “Nous avons eu la pluie grâce à l’étoile d’Al-Mijdah.” »

Texte arabe original
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ أَمْسَكَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْمَطَرَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ خَمْسَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَهُ لأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ سُقِينَا بِنَوْءِ الْمِجْدَحِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'If Allah (SWT) were to withhold rain from His slaves for five years and then send it, some of the people would become disbelievers, saying: "We have been given rain by the star of Al-Mijdah
Traduction en ourdou
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں سے پانچ سال تک بارش روکے رکھے، پھر اسے چھوڑے تو بھی لوگوں میں سے ایک گروہ کافر ہی رہے گا، کہے گا: ہم تو مجدح ستارے کے سبب برسائے گئے ہیں۔
