Hadith 1525 — Livre 17: The Book of Praying for Rain (Al-Istisqa')
كتاب الاستسقاء
Rapporté par Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani : Il a plu à l’époque du Prophète (ﷺ) et il a dit : « N’avez-vous pas entendu ce que votre Seigneur a dit cette nuit ? Il a dit : Je n’ai jamais accordé une bénédiction à Mes serviteurs sans que certains d’entre eux ne deviennent mécréants en disant : “Nous avons eu la pluie grâce à telle ou telle étoile.” Quant à celui qui croit en Moi et Me loue pour la pluie, c’est celui qui croit en Moi et rejette les étoiles. Mais celui qui dit : “Nous avons eu la pluie grâce à telle ou telle étoile”, il a mécru en Moi et cru aux étoiles. »

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ مُطِرَ النَّاسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمُ اللَّيْلَةَ قَالَ مَا أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَى عِبَادِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ إِلاَّ أَصْبَحَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ بِهَا كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَأَمَّا مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَحَمِدَنِي عَلَى سُقْيَاىَ فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي آمَنَ بِي وَكَفَرَ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَمَنْ قَالَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَذَاكَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ بِي وَآمَنَ بِالْكَوْكَبِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani said:"It rained during the time of the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: 'Have you nt heard what your Lord said this night? He said: I have never sent down any blessing upon My slaves but some of them become disbelievers thereby, saying: 'We have been given rain by such and such a star.' As for the one who believes in Me and praises Me for giving rain, that is the one who believes in Me and disbelieves in the stars. But the one who says: 'We have been given rain by such and such a star' he has disbelieved in Me and believed in the stars
Traduction en ourdou
زید بن خالد جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں بارش ہوئی تو آپ نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے سنا نہیں کہ تمہارے رب نے آج رات کیا فرمایا؟ اس نے فرمایا: میں نے جب بھی بارش کی نعمت اپنے بندوں پر کی تو ان میں سے ایک گروہ اس کی وجہ سے کافر رہا، وہ کہتا رہا: فلاں و فلاں نچھتر کے سبب ہم پر بارش ہوئی، تو رہا وہ شخص جو مجھ پر ایمان لایا، اور میرے بارش برسانے پر اس نے میری تعریف کی، تو یہ وہی شخص ہے جو مجھ پر ایمان لایا، اور ستاروں کا انکار کیا، اور جس نے کہا: ہم فلاں فلاں نچھتر کے سبب بارش دیئے گئے، تو یہ وہ شخص ہے جس نے میرے ساتھ کفر کیا، اور ستاروں پر ایمان رکھا ۔
