Rapporté par Wabarah bin Abdur-Rahman : Ibn 'Umar n'accomplissait jamais plus de deux unités de prière lorsqu'il voyageait, et il ne faisait aucune prière avant ou après cela. On lui a demandé : "Pourquoi fais-tu ainsi ?" Il a répondu : "C'est ce que j'ai vu faire le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ)

أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاَءُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَبَرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لاَ يَزِيدُ فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لاَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَهَا وَلاَ بَعْدَهَا . فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَا هَذَا قَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ .
Traduction anglaise
Wabarah bin Abdur-Rahman said:"Ibn 'Umar did not offer more than two rak'ahs when traveling, and he did not offer any prayer before or after that. It was said to him: 'What is this?' He said: 'This is what I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) doing
Traduction en ourdou
وبرہ بن عبدالرحمٰن کہتے ہیں کہ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم سفر میں دو رکعت پر اضافہ نہیں کرتے تھے، نہ تو اس سے پہلے نماز پڑھتے اور نہ ہی اس کے بعد، تو ان سے کہا گیا: یہ کیا ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسی طرح کرتے دیکھا ہے۔
