كتاب الحدود
Ibn Chéhab a rapporté qu'un homme s'est confessé d'avoir commis l'adultère, du temps de l'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) en faisant son propre témoignage par quatre fois. L'Envoyé d'Allah r (salallahou alayhi wa salam) (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) ordonna, qu'on lapide cet homme». Ibn Chéhab dit: «Telle est la cause pour laquelle, on applique la peine prescrite à un homme qui s'est confessé de son crime»

حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ . أَنَّ رَجُلاً اعْتَرَفَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالزِّنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَشَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرُجِمَ . قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ فَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ يُؤْخَذُ الرَّجُلُ بِاعْتِرَافِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ
Traduction anglaise
Malik related to me that Ibn Shihab informed him that a man confessed that he had committed adultery in the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he testified against himself four times, so the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, gave the order and he was stoned. Ibn Shihab said, "Because of this a man is to be taken for his own confession against himself
Traduction en ourdou
ابن شہاب کہتے تھے کہ ایک شخص نے اقرار کیا زنا کا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں اور چار بار اقرار کیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اس کے رجم کرنے کا حکم کیا وہ رجم کیا گیا ابن شہاب نے کہا کہ اسی وجہ سے آدمی اپنے پر جواقرار کرے اس کا مواخذہ ہوتا ہے۔
