كتاب المساجد ومواضع الصلاة
Rapporté par Ibn Shihab : Omar ibn Abd al-Aziz a retardé un peu la prière de l’après-midi et ‘Urwa lui a dit : « Gabriel est descendu et a dirigé la prière avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. » Omar lui dit : « Ô ‘Urwa, sais-tu ce que tu dis ? » ‘Urwa répondit : « J’ai entendu Bachir ibn Abu Mas‘ud dire qu’il a entendu Abu Mas‘ud dire qu’il a entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire : “Gabriel est descendu et a été mon imam, puis j’ai prié avec lui, puis j’ai prié avec lui, puis j’ai prié avec lui, puis j’ai prié avec lui, puis j’ai prié avec lui”, comptant sur ses doigts les cinq prières. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، أَخَّرَ الْعَصْرَ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ أَمَا إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ قَدْ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى إِمَامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ اعْلَمْ مَا تَقُولُ يَا عُرْوَةُ . فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَشِيرَ بْنَ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَّنِي فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ " . يَحْسُبُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn Shibab reported:'Umar b. 'Abd al-'Aziz deferred the afternoon prayer somewhat and 'Urwa said to him: Gabriel came down and he led the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in prayer. 'Umar said to him: O 'Urwa, are you aware of what you are saying? Upon this he ('Urwa) said: I heard Bashir b. Abu Mas'ud say that he heard Abu Mas'ud say that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Gabriel came down and acted as my Imam, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him. then I prayed with him. then I prayed with him. reckoning with his fingers five times of prayer
Traduction en ourdou
لیث نے ابن شہاب سے روایت کی کہ ایک دن عمر بن عبدالعزیز نےعصر کی نمازمیں کچھ تاخیر کردی تو عروہ نے ان سے کہا : بات یوں ہے کہ جبریل رضی اللہ عنہ نازل ہوئے اور امام بن کر رسول اللہ ﷺ کو نماز پڑھائی ۔ تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے کہا : اے عروہ ! جان لیں ( سمجھ لیں ) آپ کیا کہہ رہے ہیں ! انھوں نے کہا : میں نے بشیر بن ابی مسعود سے سنا ، وہ کہتے تھے : میں نے ابو مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، انھوں نے کہا ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ، آپ نے فرما رہے تھے : ’’جبرئیل اترے اور انھوں نے ( نمازمیں ) میری امامت کی ، میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ۔ ‘ ‘ وہ اپنی انگلیوں سے پانچ نمازیں شمار کرتے تھے ۔
