Hadith 6472 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par 'Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Les meilleurs parmi les gens sont ceux de ma génération, puis ceux qui les suivent. » (Le rapporteur dit : Je ne sais pas s’il l’a dit trois ou quatre fois.) « Après eux viendront des gens dont le témoignage précédera le serment, et pour d’autres, le serment précédera le témoignage. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّمَّانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ " . فَلاَ أَدْرِي فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ قَالَ " ثُمَّ يَتَخَلَّفُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ تَسْبِقُ شَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ يَمِينَهُ وَيَمِينُهُ شَهَادَتَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:The best among people are of my generation, then those next to them. (The narrator said): I do not know whether (he said) it three times or four times. Then there would fellow after them such persons whose evidence would precede the oath, and in case of some others, the oath (would precede) the evidence
Traduction en ourdou
ابن عون نے ابراہیم سے ، انھوں نے عبیدہ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا؛ " لوگوں میں سے بہترین میرے دور کے لوگ ( صحابہ رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین ) ہیں ، پھر وہ جو ان کے ساتھ ( کے دورکے ) ہوں گے ( تابعین رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ، پھر وہ جوان کے ساتھ ( کے دور کے ) ہوں گے ( تبع تابعین ۔ ) " ( عبیدہ سلیمانی نے کہا : ) مجھے یاد نہیں ( کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ) تیسری بار کہا یاچوتھی بار : " پھر ان کے جانشین ایسے لوگ ہوں گے کہ ان میں سے کسی ایک کی گواہی قسم سے پہلے ہوگی اوراور اس کی قسم اس کی گواہی سے پہلے ہوگی ۔
