Hadith 6473 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « La meilleure époque de ma communauté est celle où j’ai été envoyé (par Allah), puis celle qui suit. » (Le rapporteur dit : Et Allah sait mieux s’il l’a dit une troisième fois ou non.) « Ensuite viendront des gens qui aimeront paraître imposants et se précipiteront pour témoigner avant même qu’on ne leur demande. »

حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ، بْنُ سَالِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خَيْرُ أُمَّتِي الْقَرْنُ الَّذِينَ بُعِثْتُ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ " . وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ أَذَكَرَ الثَّالِثَ أَمْ لاَ قَالَ " ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُ قَوْمٌ يُحِبُّونَ السَّمَانَةَ يَشْهَدُونَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْتَشْهَدُوا " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may, peace be upon him) as saying:The best age of my Umma is one in which I was sent (by Allah as an Apostle), then the one next to that. (The narrator said): And Allah knows best whether he stated this third (time) or not. Then there would come people who would love (to look) bulky and they would hasten to the witness box before they are asked to bear witness
Traduction en ourdou
ہشیم نے ابو بشر سے ، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن شقیق سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " میری امت کے بہترین لوگ اس زمانے کے ہیں جن میں میری بعثت ہوئی ہے ، پھر وہ لوگ ہیں جو ان کے ساتھ ( کے دور کے ) ہیں ۔ " اللہ ہی خوب جانتا ہے کہ آپ نے تیسرے زمانے کا ذکر کیاتھا یا نہیں ، فرمایا؛ " پھر ایک ایسی قوم آئے گی جو موٹا ہونا پسند کریں گے ، وہ شہادت طلب کیے جانے سے پہلے شہادت دیں گے ۔
