Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar : J’ai vu en rêve que j’avais en main un morceau de tissu de soie, et partout où je voulais aller au Paradis, ce tissu volait vers cet endroit. J’en ai parlé à Hafsa (ma sœur), qui en a parlé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il a dit : « Je trouve qu’Abdullah ibn ‘Umar est une personne pieuse. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْعَتَكِيُّ، وَخَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ حَمَّادِ، بْنِ زَيْدٍ - قَالَ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، - حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّ فِي يَدِي قِطْعَةَ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ وَلَيْسَ مَكَانٌ أُرِيدُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلاَّ طَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ - قَالَ - فَقَصَصْتُهُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ فَقَصَّتْهُ حَفْصَةُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَرَى عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلاً صَالِحًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Umar reported:I saw in a state of sleep as if I have in my hand a piece of silk cloth and there is no place in the Paradise where I intend to reach but that piece of cloth does not fly towards it. I made a mention of it to Hafsa (the sister of Ibn 'Umar) and Hafsa made a mention of it to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: I find 'Abdullah b 'Umar a pious person

نافع نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ میرے ہاتھ میں باریک ریشم کا ایک ٹکڑا ہے اور جنت میں کو ئی بھی جگہ جہاں میں جا نا چاہ رہا ہوں ، وہ مجھے اڑا کر وہاں لے جا تا ہے ۔ کہا : میں نے یہ خواب حضرت حفصہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو بتا یا حضرت حفصہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کیا تو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " میں عبد اللہ ( ابن عمر ) کو ایک نیک آدمی دیکھتا ہوں ۔
