Hadith 6368 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est allé aux toilettes et j’ai placé pour lui de l’eau pour les ablutions. Quand il est sorti, il a demandé : « Qui a mis cela ici ? » Dans une version de Zuhair, ce sont les Compagnons qui ont répondu, et dans la version d’Abu Bakr, j’ai dit : « C’est Ibn ‘Abbas (qui l’a fait). » Il a alors dit : « Qu’Allah lui accorde une profonde compréhension de la religion. »

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ النَّضْرِ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّوسلم أَتَى الْخَلاَءَ فَوَضَعْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءًا فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ قَالَ " مَنْ وَضَعَ هَذَا " . فِي رِوَايَةِ زُهَيْرٍ قَالُوا . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قُلْتُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهْهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to privy and I placed for him water for ablution, When he came out he said:Who placed it here? And in a version of Zuhair they (the Companions) said, and in the version of Abu Bakr (the words are): I said: It is Ibn 'Abbas (who has done that), whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: May Allah grant him deep understanding of religion

زہیر بن حرب اور ابو بکر بن نضر نے کہا : ہمیں ہاشم بن قاسم نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں ورقا ء بن عمر یشکری نے حدیث سنائی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے عبید اللہ بن ابی یزید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو حضرت عبد اللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہو ئے سنا ، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر ( انسانوں سے ) خالی علاقے میں تشریف لے گئے میں نے ( اس دورا ن میں ) آپ کے لیے وضوکا پا نی رکھ دیا ۔ جب آپ آئے تو آپ نے پو چھا : " یہ پانی کس نے رکھا ہے ۔ ؟ ۔ ۔ ۔ زہیر کی روایت میں ہے ۔ لوگوں نے کہا : اور ابوبکر کی روایت میں ہے ۔ میں نے کہا ۔ ۔ ۔ ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ۔ آپ نے فر ما یا : " اے اللہ !اسے دین کا گہرا فہم عطا کر ۔
