Hadith 1028 — Livre 4: The Book of Prayers
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Simak, qui a interrogé Jabir b. Samura sur la prière du Prophète ﷺ. Il a dit : « Il raccourcissait la prière et ne priait pas comme les gens d’aujourd’hui. Il m’a dit que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ récitait : “Qaf. Par le (Noble) Coran”, ou un passage d’une longueur similaire. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ رَافِعٍ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ صَلاَةِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ كَانَ يُخَفِّفُ الصَّلاَةَ وَلاَ يُصَلِّي صَلاَةَ هَؤُلاَءِ . قَالَ وَأَنْبَأَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ بـ { ق وَالْقُرْآنِ} وَنَحْوِهَا .
Traduction anglaise
Simak asked Jabir b. Samura about the prayer of the Apostle (ﷺ). He said:He (the Holy Prophet) shortened the prayer and he did not pray like these people then, and he informed me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite" Qaf. By the (Glorious) Qur'an," and a passage of similar length
Traduction en ourdou
(زائدہ کے بجائے ) زہیر نے سماک سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی اکرمﷺ کی نماز کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے جواب دیا : آپ ہلکی نماز پڑھاتے تھے اور ان لوگوں کی طرح نماز نہیں پڑھاتے تھے ۔ اور ( سماک نے ) کہا : مجھے انہوں ( جابر رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے بتایا کہ رسو ل اللہﷺ کی صبح کی نماز میں ﴿ق والقرآن﴾ اور ( طوالت میں ) اس جیسی سورتیں پڑھا کرتے تھے
