Rapporté par Jabir b. Samura : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ récitait, lors de la prière du dhor : « Par la nuit quand elle enveloppe » (xcii), et il faisait de même pour le asr, mais il prolongeait la prière du matin par rapport à celles du dhor et du asr

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِـ { اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى} وَفِي الْعَصْرِ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ وَفِي الصُّبْحِ أَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir b. Samura reported:The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in the noon prayer:" By the night when it envelopes" (xcii.), and in the afternoon like this, but he prolonged the morning prayer as compared to that (noon and afternoon prayers)

عبد الرحمن بن مہدی نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے سماک سے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : نبی اکرمﷺ ظہر کی نماز میں ﴿واليل اذا يغشى﴾ ( اور رات کی قسم جب چھا جائے ) پڑھتے ، عصر میں بھی ایسی ہی کوئی سورت پڑھتے اور فجر کی نماز میں اس سے لمبی ( سورت پڑھتے ۔)
