كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Jabir : Mu’adh bin Jabal Al-Ansari a dirigé ses compagnons pour la prière du ‘Isha et il l’a rendue longue. L’un d’entre nous est parti prier seul. On a parlé de cela à Mu’adh et il a dit : « C’est un hypocrite. » Quand cet homme l’a appris, il est allé voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et lui a raconté ce que Mu’adh avait dit. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Veux-tu être une cause de discorde, ô Mu’adh ? Quand tu diriges la prière, récite “Par le soleil et sa clarté” [Ash-Shams 91], “Glorifie le nom de ton Seigneur le Très-Haut” [Al-A’la 87], “Par la nuit quand elle couvre” [Al-Lail 92] et “Lis au nom de ton Seigneur” [Al-‘Alaq]. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ فَطَوَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَانْصَرَفَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا فَصَلَّى فَأُخْبِرَ مُعَاذٌ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ مُنَافِقٌ . فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَخْبَرَهُ مَا قَالَ لَهُ مُعَاذٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَتُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونَ فَتَّانًا يَا مُعَاذُ إِذَا صَلَّيْتَ بِالنَّاسِ فَاقْرَأْ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jabir said:“Mu’adh bin Jabal Al-Ansari led his companions in the ‘Isha’ prayer and he made it long. A man among us went away and prayed by himself. Mu’adh was told about that and he said: ‘He is a hypocrite.’ When the man heard about that, he went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and told him what Mu’adh had said to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Do you want to be a cause of Fitnah (trial, tribulation), O Mu’adh? When you lead the people in prayer, recite “By the sun and its brightness,”[Ash-Shams 91] and “Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High,” [Al-A’la 87] and “By the night as it envelopes,” [Al-Lail 92] and “Recite in the Name of your Lord.’”[Al-‘Alaq]
Traduction en ourdou
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے ساتھیوں کو عشاء کی نماز پڑھائی اور نماز لمبی کر دی، ہم میں سے ایک آدمی چلا گیا اور اکیلے نماز پڑھ لی، معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کو اس شخص کے بارے میں بتایا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا: یہ منافق ہے، جب اس شخص کو معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بات پہنچی، تو وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور آپ کو معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بات بتائی، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: معاذ! کیا تم فتنہ پرداز ہونا چاہتے ہو؟ جب لوگوں کو نماز پڑھاؤ تو«والشمس وضحاها»، «سبح اسم ربك الأعلى» «والليل إذا يغشى» اور «اقرأ باسم ربك» پڑھو ۱؎۔
