Hadith 948 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Umm Salamah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) priait dans la maison d’Umm Salamah, et ‘Abdullah ou ‘Umar bin Abu Salamah est passé devant lui ; il a fait un geste de la main et il est revenu en arrière. Puis Zainab bint Umm Salamah est passée devant lui, il a aussi fait un geste de la main, mais elle a continué. Quand le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a fini sa prière, il a dit : “Celles-ci (les femmes) sont plus têtues.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، - هُوَ قَاصُّ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي فِي حُجْرَةِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَمَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَوْ عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ فَرَجَعَ فَمَرَّتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا فَمَضَتْ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " هُنَّ أَغْلَبُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:“The Prophet (ﷺ) was performing prayer in the house of Umm Salamah, and ‘Abdullah or ‘Umar bin Abu Salamah passed in front of him; he gestured his hand, and he went back. Then Zainab bint Umm Salamah passed in front of him, and he gestured his hand, but she kept going. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) finished his prayer, he said: ‘These (women) are more stubborn.’”
Traduction en ourdou
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے حجرہ میں نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، اتنے میں آپ کے سامنے سے عبداللہ یا عمر بن ابی سلمہ گزرے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کیا وہ لوٹ گئے، پھر زینب بنت ام سلمہ گزریں، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اسی طرح اشارہ کیا مگر وہ سامنے سے گزرتی چلی گئیں، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے، تو فرمایا: یہ عورتیں نہیں مانتیں ۱؎۔
