Rapporté par ‘Abdullah bin Shaqiq Al-‘Uqaili : J’ai demandé à ‘Aishah رضي الله عنها comment le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait la nuit. Elle a répondu : “Il priait longtemps la nuit debout, et longtemps la nuit assis. S’il priait debout, il s’inclinait debout, et s’il priait assis, il s’inclinait assis.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِاللَّيْلِ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي لَيْلاً طَوِيلاً قَائِمًا وَلَيْلاً طَوِيلاً قَاعِدًا فَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَائِمًا رَكَعَ قَائِمًا وَإِذَا قَرَأَ قَاعِدًا رَكَعَ قَاعِدًا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Shaqiq Al-‘Uqaili said:“I asked ‘Aishah about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at night. She said: ‘He used to pray for a long time at night standing up, and for a long time at night sitting down. If he prayed standing, he would bow standing, and if he prayed sitting, he would bow sitting.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن شقیق عقیلی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی رات کی نماز کے متعلق پوچھا، تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم رات میں دیر تک کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھتے، اور کبھی دیر تک بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھتے، جب آپ کھڑے ہو کر قراءت کرتے تو رکوع کھڑے ہو کر کرتے، اور جب بیٹھ کر قراءت کرتے تو رکوع بھی بیٹھ کر کرتے ۱؎۔
