Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a oublié et a dit le Taslim après deux Rak‘a. Un homme appelé Dhul-Yadain lui a dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah, la prière a-t-elle été raccourcie ou as-tu oublié ?” Il a répondu : “Elle n’a pas été raccourcie et je n’ai pas oublié.” Il a dit : “Mais tu as prié deux Rak‘a.” Il a demandé : “Est-ce que ce que dit Dhul-Yadain est vrai ?” Ils ont répondu : “Oui.” Alors il s’est avancé, a fait deux Rak‘a, a dit le Salam, puis il a fait deux prosternations pour l’oubli

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ سَهَا فَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ . فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقَصُرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ؟ قَالَ " مَا قَصُرَتْ وَمَا نَسِيتُ " . قَالَ إِنَّكَ صَلَّيْتَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ . قَالَ " أَكَمَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَتَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ. ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forgot and said the Taslim after two Rak’ah. A man who was called Dhul-Yadain said to him:‘O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened or did you forget?’ He said: ‘It has not been shortened and I did not forget.’ He said: ‘But you prayed two Rak’ah.’ He said: ‘Is what Dhul-Yadain says true?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ So he went forward and performed two Rak’ah and said the Salam, then he prostrated twice for prostrations of forgetfulness
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بھول کر دو ہی رکعت پر سلام پھیر دیا، تو ذوالیدین نامی ایک شخص نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا نماز کم ہو گئی ہے یا آپ بھول گئے ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا: نہ تو نماز کم ہوئی ہے نہ ہی میں بھولا ہوں ذوالیدین رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: تب تو آپ نے دو ہی رکعت پڑھی ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: کیا حقیقت وہی ہے جو ذوالیدین کہتا ہے؟ لوگوں نے کہا: جی ہاں، آپ آگے بڑھے اور دو رکعت پڑھائی، پھر سلام پھیرا، پھر سہو کے دو سجدے کئے۔
