Hadith 1204 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par ‘Iyad : Il a demandé à Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri : “L’un de nous prie et ne sait pas combien de Rak‘a il a faites.” Il a répondu : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Quand l’un de vous prie et ne sait pas combien il a prié, qu’il fasse deux prosternations quand il est assis.’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي عِيَاضٌ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ فَقَالَ أَحَدُنَا يُصَلِّي فَلاَ يَدْرِي كَمْ صَلَّى . فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَمْ يَدْرِ كَمْ صَلَّى، فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
‘Iyad narrated that he asked Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri:“One of us prays and he does not know how many (Rak’ah) he has prayed.” He said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘When anyone of you prays and does not know how many he has prayed, let him perform two prostrations while he is sitting.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عیاض نے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کوئی شخص نماز ادا کرتا ہے اور اسے یاد نہیں رہتا کہ اس نے کتنی رکعتیں ادا کر لیں؟ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز پڑھے، اور اسے یاد نہ رہے کہ کتنی رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں؟ تو بیٹھے بیٹھے دو سجدے کر لے ۱؎۔
