كتاب الأطعمة
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr : Un homme a demandé au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) : “Ô Messager d’Allah, quel aspect de l’Islam est le meilleur ?” Il a dit : “Donner à manger (aux nécessiteux) et saluer avec le Salam ceux que tu connais et ceux que tu ne connais pas.”

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، . أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الإِسْلاَمِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ " تُطْعِمُ الطَّعَامَ وَتَقْرَأُ السَّلاَمَ عَلَى مَنْ عَرَفْتَ وَمَنْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ):“O Messenger of Allah, which (aspect) of Islam is the best?” He said: “Offering food (to the needy) and greeting with Salam those whom you know and those whom you do not know.”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا اور عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کون سا اسلام بہتر ہے ۱؎؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کھانا کھلانا، ہر شخص کو سلام کرنا، چاہے اس کو پہچانتے ہو یا نہ پہچانتے ہو ۔
