Rapporté par Ibn Abbas : “J’aimerais que les gens réduisent (le testament) d’un tiers à un quart, car le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Un tiers, c’est beaucoup.’”

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ وَدِدْتُ أَنَّ النَّاسَ، غَضُّوا مِنَ الثُّلُثِ إِلَى الرُّبُعِ لأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الثُّلُثُ كَبِيرٌ - أَوْ كَثِيرٌ - " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:“I would like the people to reduce (the will) from one third to one quarter, because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'One third is a lot.'”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میری تمنا ہے کہ لوگ تہائی مال کے بجائے چوتھائی مال میں وصیت کریں، اس لیے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایک تہائی حصہ بھی بڑا ہے یا زیادہ ہے ۔
