Rapporté par 'Aishah رضي الله عنها : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a envoyé Abu Jahm bin Hudhaifah pour collecter la Sadaqah. Un homme a eu un différend avec lui à propos de sa Sadaqah, et Abu Jahm l’a frappé et blessé à la tête. Ils sont venus voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et ont dit : “Une compensation, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) !” Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “Vous aurez telle et telle chose”, mais ils n’ont pas accepté. Il a dit : “Vous aurez telle et telle chose”, et ils ont accepté. Ensuite, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “Je vais informer les gens que vous avez accepté.” Ils ont dit : “Oui.” Le Prophète (ﷺ) a alors informé (les gens) et a dit : “Ces gens de Laith sont venus me demander une compensation, et je leur ai proposé telle et telle chose. Êtes-vous d’accord ?” Ils ont dit : “Non.” Les Émigrés ont voulu les attaquer, mais le Prophète (ﷺ) leur a dit de ne pas le faire, alors ils se sont abstenus. Ensuite, il les a rappelés et leur a offert plus, et a dit : “Êtes-vous d’accord ?” Ils ont dit : “Oui.” Il a dit : “Je vais informer les gens que vous avez accepté.” Ils ont dit : “Oui.” Le Prophète (ﷺ) a alors informé (les gens) puis a dit : “Êtes-vous d’accord ?” Ils ont dit : “Oui.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعَثَ أَبَا جَهْمِ بْنَ حُذَيْفَةَ مُصَدِّقًا فَلاَجَّهُ رَجُلٌ فِي صَدَقَتِهِ فَضَرَبَهُ أَبُو جَهْمٍ فَشَجَّهُ فَأَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالُوا الْقَوَدَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَكُمْ كَذَا وَكَذَا " . فَلَمْ يَرْضَوْا فَقَالَ " لَكُمْ كَذَا وَكَذَا " . فَرَضُوا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنِّي خَاطِبٌ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَمُخْبِرُهُمْ بِرِضَاكُمْ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَخَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " إِنَّ هَؤُلاَءِ اللَّيْثِيِّينِ أَتَوْنِي يُرِيدُونَ الْقَوَدَ فَعَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ كَذَا وَكَذَا أَرَضِيتُمْ " . قَالُوا لاَ . فَهَمَّ بِهِمُ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَكُفُّوا فَكَفُّوا ثُمَّ دَعَاهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ فَقَالَ " أَرَضِيتُمْ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . قَالَ " إِنِّي خَاطِبٌ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَمُخْبِرُهُمْ بِرِضَاكُمْ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَخَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ قَالَ " أَرَضِيتُمْ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . قَالَ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى يَقُولُ تَفَرَّدَ بِهَذَا مَعْمَرٌ لاَ أَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُهُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Aishah that :the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent Abu Jahm bin Hudhaifah to collect Sadaqah. A man disputed with him concerning his Sadaqah, and Abu Jahm struck him and wounded his head. They came to Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “Compensatory money, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)!” The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “You will have such and such,” but they did not accept that. He said: “You will have such and such,” and they agreed. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “I am going to address the people and tell them that you agreed.” They said: “Yes.” So the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed (the people) and said: “These people of Laith came to me seeking compensatory money, and I have offered them such and such. Do you agree?” They said: “No.” The Emigrants wanted to attack them, but the Prophet (ﷺ) told them not to, so they refrained. Then he called them and offered them more and said: “Do you agree?” They said: “Yes.” He said: “I am going to address the people and tell them that you agreed.” They said: “Yes.” So the Prophet (ﷺ) addressed (the people) then said: “Do you Agree?” They said: “Yes.”

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابوجہم بن حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو مصدق ( عامل صدقہ ) بنا کر بھیجا، زکاۃ کے سلسلے میں ان کا ایک شخص سے جھگڑا ہو گیا، ابوجہم رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے مارا تو اس کا سر پھٹ گیا، وہ لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، اور قصاص کا مطالبہ کرنے لگے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اچھا تم اتنا اتنا مال لے لو ، وہ راضی نہیں ہوئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اچھا اتنا اتنا مال ( اور ) لے لو ، تو وہ راضی ہو گئے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں لوگوں کے سامنے خطبہ دوں، اور تم لوگوں کی رضا مندی کی خبر سناؤں؟ کہنے لگے: ٹھیک ہے، پھر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبہ دیا اور فرمایا: یہ لیث کے لوگ میرے پاس آئے اور قصاص لینا چاہتے تھے، میں نے ان سے اتنا اتنا مال لینے کی پیشکش کی اور پوچھا: کیا وہ اس پر راضی ہیں ؟ کہنے لگے: نہیں، ( ان کے اس رویہ پر ) مہاجرین نے ان کو مارنے پیٹنے کا ارادہ کیا، آپ صلی اللہعلیہ وسلم نے انہیں باز رہنے کو کہا، تو وہ رک گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو بلایا اور کچھ اضافہ کر دیا، اور پوچھا: کیا اب راضی ہیں ؟ انہوں نے اقرار کیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پھر فرمایا: کیا میں خطبہ دوں اور لوگوں کو تمہاری رضا مندی کی اطلاع دے دوں ؟ جواب دیا: ٹھیک ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبہ دیا، اور پھر کہا: تم راضی ہو ؟ جواب دیا: جی ہاں ۱؎۔ ابن ماجہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے محمد بن یحییٰ کو کہتے سنا کہ معمر اس حدیث کو روایت کرنے میں منفرد ہیں، میں نہیں جانتا کہ ان کے علاوہ کسی اور نے بھی یہ حدیث روایت کی ہے۔
