Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Si un proche d’une personne est tué, il a le choix entre deux choses : soit faire exécuter le tueur, soit demander le prix du sang.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ قُتِلَ لَهُ قَتِيلٌ فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ إِمَّا أَنْ يَقْتُلَ وَإِمَّا أَنْ يُفْدَى " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“If a person's relative is killed, he has the choice of two things: He may either have the killer killed, or he may demand the blood money.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس کا کوئی شخص قتل کر دیا جائے تو اسے دو باتوں میں سے ایک کا اختیار ہے، یا تو وہ قاتل کو قصاص میں قتل کر دے، یا فدیہ لے لے ۱؎۔
