كتاب الحدود
Rapporté par Bara bin Azib : Mon oncle maternel est passé près de moi – (un des rapporteurs, Hushaim, l’a nommé dans sa narration comme Harith bin Amr) – et le Prophète (ﷺ) lui avait donné une bannière à porter. Je lui ai demandé : “Où vas-tu ?” Il a répondu : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) m’a envoyé vers un homme qui a épousé la femme de son père après sa mort, et il m’a ordonné de le mettre à mort (l’exécuter).”

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ مَرَّ بِي خَالِي - سَمَّاهُ هُشَيْمٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو - وَقَدْ عَقَدَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِوَاءً فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ فَقَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Bara bin Azib said:“My maternal uncle passed by me - (one of the narrators) Hushaim named him in his narration as Harith bin Amr - and the Prophet (ﷺ) had given him a banner to carry. I said to him: 'Where are you going?’ He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has sent me to a man who married his father's wife after he died, and has commanded me to strike his neck (i.e. execute him).”
Traduction en ourdou
براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میرے ماموں کا گزر میرے پاس سے ہوا ( راوی حدیث ہشیم نے ان کے ماموں کا نام حارث بن عمرو بتایا ) نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو ایک جھنڈا باندھ دیا تھا، میں نے ان سے پوچھا: کہاں کا قصد ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسے شخص کے پاس روانہ کیا ہے جس نے اپنے باپ کے مرنے کے بعد اس کی بیوی ( یعنی اپنی سوتیلی ماں ) سے شادی کر لی ہے، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے حکم دیا ہے کہ میں اس کی گردن اڑا دوں۔
