Rapporté par 'Amr bin Shu'aib, de son père, que son grand-père a dit que le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : "Celui qui fait un serment puis voit qu’autre chose est meilleure, qu’il ne le fasse pas, et le fait de ne pas le faire est l’expiation pour ce serment

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، . أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَتْرُكْهَا فَإِنَّ تَرْكَهَا كَفَّارَتُهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, that his grandfather said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:"Whoever swears an oath then sees that something else is better than it, let him not do it, and his leaving it is the expiation for it
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص نے قسم کھائی، پھر اس کے خلاف کرنا اس سے بہتر سمجھا، تو قسم توڑ دینا ہی اس کا کفارہ ہے ۔
