Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِالطَّوَاغِي وَلاَ بِآبَائِكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah that :the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Do not take oaths by idols nor by your forefathers
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہ طاغوتوں ( بتوں ) کی، اور نہ اپنے باپ دادا کی قسم کھاؤ ۔
