Rapporté par Salim bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar, d’après son père, d’après 'Umar : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) l’a entendu jurer par son père. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : "Allah vous interdit de jurer par vos ancêtres." 'Umar a dit : "Je n’ai plus jamais juré par eux, ni rapporté de tels propos venant de quelqu’un d’autre

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ سَمِعَهُ يَحْلِفُ بِأَبِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ " . قَالَ عُمَرُ فَمَا حَلَفْتُ بِهَا ذَاكِرًا وَلاَ آثِرًا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Salim bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar, from his father, from 'Umar, that :the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard him swearing by his father. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah forbids you from making oaths by your forefathers." 'Umar said: I never took an oath by them (i.e., my forefathers) myself nor narrating such words from anyone else.”
Traduction en ourdou
عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں باپ کی قسم کھاتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا: اللہ تمہیں باپ دادا کی قسم کھانے سے منع کرتا ہے ، اس کے بعد میں نے کبھی باپ دادا کی قسم نہیں کھائی، نہ اپنی طرف سے، اور نہ دوسرے کی نقل کر کے ۱؎۔
