Hadith 2057 — Livre 10: The Chapters on Divorce
كتاب الطلاق
Rapporté par 'Amr bin Shu'aib, d'après son père, d'après son grand-père : Habibah bint Sahl était mariée à Thabit bin Qais bin Shammas, qui était un homme peu attirant. Elle a dit : "Ô Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), par Allah, si je n'avais pas la crainte d'Allah quand il vient vers moi, je lui aurais craché au visage." Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : "Veux-tu lui rendre son jardin ?" Elle a répondu : "Oui." Elle lui a donc rendu son jardin et le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) les a séparés

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ كَانَتْ حَبِيبَةُ بِنْتُ سَهْلٍ تَحْتَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ وَكَانَ رَجُلاً دَمِيمًا . فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ لَوْلاَ مَخَافَةُ اللَّهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ لَبَصَقْتُ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَتَرُدِّينَ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ " . قَالَتْ نَعَمْ . قَالَ فَرَدَّتْ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ . قَالَ فَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:"Habibah bint Sahl was married to Thabit bin Qais bin Shammas, who was an ugly man. She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ) by Allah, were it not for fear of Allah when he enters upon me I would spit in his face.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Will you give him back his garden?' She :said: 'Yes.' So she gave him back his garden and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) separated them
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ حبیبہ بنت سہل رضی اللہ عنہا ثابت بن قیس بن شماس رضی اللہ عنہما کے نکاح میں تھیں، وہ ناٹے اور بدصورت آدمی تھے، حبیبہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! اللہ کی قسم! اگر اللہ کا ڈر نہ ہوتا تو ثابت جب میرے پاس آئے تو میں ان کے منہ پر تھوک دیتی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تم ان کا باغ واپس لوٹا دو گی ؟ کہا: ہاں، اور ان کا باغ انہیں واپس دے دیا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان دونوں کے درمیان جدائی کرا دی۔
