Rapporté par Jarir bin ‘Abdullah Al-Bajali : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ ne m’a jamais refusé une rencontre depuis que je suis devenu musulman, et chaque fois qu’il me voyait, il me souriait. Je me suis plaint à lui de ne pas pouvoir bien tenir à cheval, alors il m’a frappé la poitrine de sa main et a dit : « Ô Allah, rends-le ferme, fais de lui un guide et guide-le. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ مَا حَجَبَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ وَلاَ رَآنِي إِلاَّ تَبَسَّمَ فِي وَجْهِي وَلَقَدْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنِّي لاَ أَثْبُتُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jarir bin 'Abdullah Al-Bajali said:"The Messenger of Allah never refused to see me from the time I became Muslim, and whenever he saw me he would smile at me. I complained to him that I could not sit firmly on a horse, so he struck me on the chest with his hand and said: 'O Allah, make him firm and cause him to guide others and be rightly-guided
Traduction en ourdou
جریر بن عبداللہ بجلی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے اپنے پاس آنے سے نہیں روکا، اور جب بھی مجھے دیکھا میرے روبرو مسکرائے اور میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شکایت کی کہ میں گھوڑے پر ٹک نہیں پاتا ( گر جاتا ہوں ) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے سینے پہ مارا اور دعا فرمائی: اے اللہ! اس کو ثابت رکھ اور اسے ہدایت کنندہ اور ہدایت یافتہ بنا دے ۱؎۔
