Hadith 3730 — Livre 62: Companions of the Prophet
كتاب فضائل أصحاب النبي ﷺ
Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a envoyé une armée sous le commandement de Usama bin Zaid. Quand certaines personnes ont critiqué sa direction, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Si vous critiquez le commandement de Usama, vous critiquiez déjà celui de son père auparavant. Par Allah ! Il était digne de diriger et c’était l’une des personnes que j’aimais le plus, et (maintenant) celui-ci (c’est-à-dire Usama) est aussi l’un de ceux que j’aime le plus après lui (c’est-à-dire Zaid). »

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعْثًا، وَأَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِمْ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، فَطَعَنَ بَعْضُ النَّاسِ فِي إِمَارَتِهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنْ تَطْعُنُوا فِي إِمَارَتِهِ فَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَطْعُنُونَ فِي إِمَارَةِ أَبِيهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ، وَايْمُ اللَّهِ، إِنْ كَانَ لَخَلِيقًا لِلإِمَارَةِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ، وَإِنَّ هَذَا لَمِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ بَعْدَهُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:The Prophet (ﷺ) sent an army under the command of Usama bin Zaid. When some people criticized his leadership, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you are criticizing Usama's leadership, you used to criticize his father's leadership before. By Allah! He was worthy of leadership and was one of the dearest persons to me, and (now) this (i.e. Usama) is one of the dearest to me after him (i.e. Zaid)

ہم سے خالد بن مخلد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سلیمان نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عبداللہ بن دینار نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک فوج بھیجی اور اس کا امیر اسامہ بن زید کو بنایا۔ ان کے امیر بنائے جانے پر بعض لوگوں نے اعتراض کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر آج تم اس کے امیر بنائے جانے پر اعتراض کر رہے ہو تو اس سے پہلے اس کے باپ کے امیر بنائے جانے پر بھی تم نے اعتراض کیا تھا اور اللہ کی قسم! وہ ( زید رضی اللہ عنہ ) امارت کے مستحق تھے اور مجھے سب سے زیادہ عزیز تھے۔ اور یہ ( اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ ) اب ان کے بعد مجھے سب سے زیادہ عزیز ہیں۔
