Hadith 3124 — Livre 57: One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus)

Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Un prophète parmi les prophètes a mené une expédition sacrée, et il a dit à ses compagnons : “Celui qui a épousé une femme et veut consommer le mariage, mais ne l'a pas encore fait, ne doit pas m'accompagner ; ni celui qui a construit une maison sans avoir fini son toit ; ni celui qui a des brebis ou des chamelles et attend la naissance de leurs petits.” Le prophète a donc mené l'expédition et, en arrivant près d'une ville à l'heure de la prière de l'`Asr ou presque, il a dit au soleil : “Ô soleil ! Tu es sous l'ordre d'Allah et moi aussi. Ô Allah ! Empêche-le (c'est-à-dire le soleil) de se coucher.” Il a été arrêté jusqu'à ce qu'Allah lui accorde la victoire. Ensuite, il a rassemblé le butin et le feu est venu pour le brûler, mais il ne l'a pas consumé. Il a dit (à ses hommes) : “L'un de vous a volé quelque chose du butin. Qu'un homme de chaque tribu me donne l'allégeance en me serrant la main.” (Ils l'ont fait et) la main d'un homme est restée collée à celle de leur prophète. Alors le prophète a dit (à cet homme) : “Le vol a été commis par les tiens. Que tous les membres de ta tribu me donnent l'allégeance.” Les mains de deux ou trois hommes sont restées collées à celle de leur prophète et il a dit : “Vous avez commis le vol.” Ils ont alors apporté une tête d'or de la taille d'une tête de vache et l'ont posée là, et le feu est venu et a consumé le butin. Le Prophète ﷺ a ajouté : Ensuite, Allah a vu notre faiblesse et notre incapacité, alors Il a rendu le butin licite pour nous. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " غَزَا نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ فَقَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ لاَ يَتْبَعْنِي رَجُلٌ مَلَكَ بُضْعَ امْرَأَةٍ وَهْوَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَبْنِيَ بِهَا وَلَمَّا يَبْنِ بِهَا، وَلاَ أَحَدٌ بَنَى بُيُوتًا وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْ سُقُوفَهَا، وَلاَ أَحَدٌ اشْتَرَى غَنَمًا أَوْ خَلِفَاتٍ وَهْوَ يَنْتَظِرُ وِلاَدَهَا. فَغَزَا فَدَنَا مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ صَلاَةَ الْعَصْرِ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لِلشَّمْسِ إِنَّكِ مَأْمُورَةٌ وَأَنَا مَأْمُورٌ، اللَّهُمَّ احْبِسْهَا عَلَيْنَا. فَحُبِسَتْ، حَتَّى فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، فَجَمَعَ الْغَنَائِمَ، فَجَاءَتْ ـ يَعْنِي النَّارَ ـ لِتَأْكُلَهَا، فَلَمْ تَطْعَمْهَا، فَقَالَ إِنَّ فِيكُمْ غُلُولاً، فَلْيُبَايِعْنِي مِنْ كُلِّ قَبِيلَةٍ رَجُلٌ. فَلَزِقَتْ يَدُ رَجُلٍ بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ فِيكُمُ الْغُلُولُ. فَلْتُبَايِعْنِي قَبِيلَتُكَ، فَلَزِقَتْ يَدُ رَجُلَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثَةٍ بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ فِيكُمُ الْغُلُولُ، فَجَاءُوا بِرَأْسٍ مِثْلِ رَأْسِ بَقَرَةٍ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ فَوَضَعُوهَا، فَجَاءَتِ النَّارُ فَأَكَلَتْهَا، ثُمَّ أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَنَا الْغَنَائِمَ، رَأَى ضَعْفَنَا وَعَجْزَنَا فَأَحَلَّهَا لَنَا ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A prophet amongst the prophets carried out a holy military expedition, so he said to his followers, 'Anyone who has married a woman and wants to consummate the marriage, and has not done so yet, should not accompany me; nor should a man who has built a house but has not completed its roof; nor a man who has sheep or shecamels and is waiting for the birth of their young ones.' So, the prophet carried out the expedition and when he reached that town at the time or nearly at the time of the `Asr prayer, he said to the sun, 'O sun! You are under Allah's Order and I am under Allah's Order O Allah! Stop it (i.e. the sun) from setting.' It was stopped till Allah made him victorious. Then he collected the booty and the fire came to burn it, but it did not burn it. He said (to his men), 'Some of you have stolen something from the booty. So one man from every tribe should give me a pledge of allegiance by shaking hands with me.' (They did so and) the hand of a man got stuck over the hand of their prophet. Then that prophet said (to the man), 'The theft has been committed by your people. So all the persons of your tribe should give me the pledge of allegiance by shaking hands with me.' The hands of two or three men got stuck over the hand of their prophet and he said, "You have committed the theft.' Then they brought a head of gold like the head of a cow and put it there, and the fire came and consumed the booty. The Prophet (ﷺ) added: Then Allah saw our weakness and disability, so he made booty legal for us

ہم سے محمد بن علاء نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن مبارک نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے معمر نے ‘ ان سے ہمام بن منبہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”بنی اسرائیل کے پیغمبروں میں سے ایک نبی ( یوشع علیہ السلام ) نے غزوہ کرنے کا ارادہ کیا تو اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ میرے ساتھ کوئی ایسا شخص جس نے ابھی نئی شادی کی ہو اور بیوی کے ساتھ رات بھی نہ گزاری ہو اور وہ رات گزارنا چاہتا ہو اور وہ شخص جس نے گھر بنایا ہو اور ابھی اس کی چھت نہ رکھی ہو اور وہ شخص جس نے حاملہ بکری یا حاملہ اونٹنیاں خریدی ہوں اور اسے ان کے بچے جننے کا انتظار ہو تو ( ایسے لوگوں میں سے کوئی بھی ) ہمارے ساتھ جہاد میں نہ چلے۔ پھر انہوں نے جہاد کیا ‘ اور جب اس آبادی ( اریحا ) سے قریب ہوئے تو عصر کا وقت ہو گیا یا اس کے قریب وقت ہوا۔ انہوں نے سورج سے فرمایا کہ تو بھی اللہ کا تابع فرمان ہے اور میں بھی اس کا تابع فرمان ہوں۔ اے اللہ! ہمارے لیے اسے اپنی جگہ پر روک دے۔ چنانچہ سورج رک گیا ‘ یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں فتح عنایت فرمائی۔ پھر انہوں نے اموال غنیمت کو جمع کیا اور آگ اسے جلانے کے لیے آئی لیکن جلا نہ سکی ‘ اس نبی نے فرمایا کہ تم میں سے کسی نے مال غنیمت میں چوری کی ہے۔ اس لیے ہر قبیلہ کا ایک آدمی آ کر میرے ہاتھ پر بیعت کرے ( جب بیعت کرنے لگے تو ) ایک قبیلہ کے شخص کا ہاتھ ان کے ہاتھ سے چمٹ گیا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا ‘ کہ چوری تمہارے قبیلہ ہی والوں نے کی ہے۔ اب تمہارے قبیلے کے سب لوگ آئیں اور بیعت کریں۔ چنانچہ اس قبیلے کے دو تین آدمیوں کا ہاتھ اس طرح ان کے ہاتھ سے چمٹ گیا ‘ تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ چوری تمہیں لوگوں نے کی ہے۔ ( آخر چوری مان لی گئی ) اور وہ لوگ گائے کے سر کی طرح سونے کا ایک سر لائے ( جو غنیمت میں سے چرا لیا گیا تھا ) اور اسے مال غنیمت میں رکھ دیا ‘ تب آگ آئی اور اسے جلا گئی ‘ پھر غنیمت اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمارے لیے جائز قرار دے دی ‘ ہماری کمزوری اور عاجزی کو دیکھا۔ اس لیے ہمارے واسطے حلال قرار دے دی۔
