Rapporté par Aslam : `Umar a dit : « Si ce n'était pour les musulmans qui ne sont pas encore nés, j'aurais distribué (la terre) de chaque ville que je conquiers parmi les combattants, comme le Prophète ﷺ a distribué la terre de Khaibar. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه لَوْلاَ آخِرُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا فَتَحْتُ قَرْيَةً إِلاَّ قَسَمْتُهَا بَيْنَ أَهْلِهَا كَمَا قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَيْبَرَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Aslam:`Umar said, "Were it not for those Muslims who have not come to existence yet, I would have distributed (the land of) every town I conquer among the fighters as the Prophet (ﷺ) distributed the land of Khaibar
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے صدقہ بن فضل نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم کو عبدالرحمٰن بن مہدی نے خبر دی ‘ انہیں امام مالک نے ‘ انہیں زید بن اسلم نے ‘ انہیں ان کے والد نے کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا ”اگر مسلمانوں کی آنے والی نسلوں کا خیال نہ ہوتا تو جو شہر بھی فتح ہوتا میں اسے فاتحوں میں اسی طرح تقسیم کر دیا کرتا جس طرح نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خیبر کی تقسیم کی تھی۔“
