Hadith 1600 — Livre 9: Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat)
كتاب الزكاة
Amr ibn Shu'aib, selon son père, a rapporté que son grand-père a dit : Hilal, un homme de la tribu des Banu Mat'an, a apporté au Messager d’Allah ﷺ le dixième du miel qu’il possédait dans des ruches. Il a demandé au Prophète ﷺ de lui accorder la forêt appelée Salabah comme terrain protégé. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a accordé cette forêt. Quand Umar ibn al-Khattab lui a succédé, Sufyan ibn Wahb lui a écrit pour l’interroger à propos de cette forêt. Umar ibn al-Khattab lui a répondu : « Si Hilal te paie la dîme sur le miel comme il le faisait du temps du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, laisse-lui la forêt de Salabah ; sinon, ces abeilles seront comme celles de n’importe quelle forêt, et chacun pourra prendre le miel comme il le souhaite. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْمِصْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ جَاءَ هِلاَلٌ - أَحَدُ بَنِي مُتْعَانَ - إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِعُشُورِ نَحْلٍ لَهُ وَكَانَ سَأَلَهُ أَنْ يَحْمِيَ لَهُ وَادِيًا يُقَالُ لَهُ سَلَبَةُ فَحَمَى لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَلِكَ الْوَادِي فَلَمَّا وُلِّيَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ - رضى الله عنه - كَتَبَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ رضى الله عنه إِنْ أَدَّى إِلَيْكَ مَا كَانَ يُؤَدِّي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ عُشُورِ نَحْلِهِ لَهُ فَاحْمِ لَهُ سَلَبَةَ وَإِلاَّ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ ذُبَابُ غَيْثٍ يَأْكُلُهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ .
Traduction anglaise
Amr bin Shu'aib, on his father's authority, said that his grandfather reported:Hilal, a man from the tribe of Banu Mat'an brought a tenth of honey which he possessed in beehives to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He asked him (the apostle of Allah) to give the wood known as Salabah as a protected (or restricted) land. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave him that wood as a protected land. When Umar ibn al-Khattab succeeded, Sufyan ibn Wahb wrote to Umar asking him about this wood. Umar ibn al-Khattab wrote to him: If he (Hilal) pays you the tithe on honey what he used to pay to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), leave the protected land of Salabah in his possession; otherwise those bees are like those of any wood; anyone can take the honey as he likes
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ بنی متعان کے ایک فرد متعان اپنے شہد کا عشر ( دسواں حصہ ) لے کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور آپ سے اس کے ایک سلبہ نامی جنگل کا ٹھیکا طلب کیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں جنگل کو ٹھیکے پردے دیا، جب عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ خلیفہ ہوئے تو سفیان بن وہب نے عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کو خط لکھا، وہ ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھ رہے تھے، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں ( جواب میں ) لکھا اگر ہلال تم کو اسی قدر دیتے ہیں، جو وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیتے تھے یعنی اپنے شہد کا دسواں حصہ، تو سلبہ کا ان کا ٹھیکا قائم رکھو اور اگر وہ ایسا نہ کریں تو مکھیاں بھی جنگل کی دوسری مکھیوں کی طرح ہیں، جو چاہے ان کا شہد کھا سکتا ہے۔
